Kick-off meeting
Kick-off meeting at VTT-MIKES, Helsinki
On October 4th, the kick-off meeting for the FunSNM project took place at VTT-MIKES in Helsinki, Finland.
During the day, partners from all across Europe met up physically and virtually to discuss the initialization of the EPM project FunSNM. During the meeting, there were several interesting discussions concerning the finer details of the technical content of the project.
During the next 3 years, we will see world-leading researchers make exceptional work in the field of sensor networks. On top of creating general tools for analyzing sensor data, the project will show progress in real-world scenarios within 5 use cases:
- District Heating
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Gas Flow Metering
- Environmental Monitoring
- Smart Buildings
These 5 use cases will be used to show the potential of smart data analysis with proper data uncertainty propagation, increasing the value of the data collected and assisting decisionmakers to make their calls based on a well-informed basis.
