ThermoSI-FunSNM online workshop on 6 May 2026
FunSNM and ThermoSI invite interested stakeholders to a joint online workshop on 6 May 2026 titled:
“Advances in industrial thermometry & enhancing sensor network metrology for industry and digitalization”
The workshop is free of charge and will bring together experts from NPL (UK), PTB (Germany), DTU and DTI (Denmark), VTT (Finland), and Beamex (Finland).
The programme will cover:
- latest developments in traceable temperature measurement for industrial processes
- fundamental sensor network metrology and measurement assurance
- application areas including heat treatment, district heating, gas distribution, waste incineration, and air quality monitoring
The workshop will also include introductions to the ThermoSI and FunSNM projects, as well as presentations on SI-traceable thermal imaging, Johnson noise thermometry, phosphor thermometry, AI approaches to thermometry, and digitalization.
The event is particularly relevant for industrial users, partners, and stakeholders interested in reliable and traceable sensor networks.
